The Galactic Senate

Welcome all! The Galactic Senate will be our new meeting room to decide on metaverse matters! This means that this is it's sole function...for now. This may change. This is not a slander thread like the Galactic Council one. There is no tolerance for profanity and swearing.
The leader of the senate will be voted upon once every 3 weeks! When the leader's term is up, he may be elected as many times as the voters want...unlimited! You may vote for yourself!
If the leader of the Senate does something inappropriate on this thread, then he will be immediately ousted and his throat will be slit with a razor. Then we'll rip his heart out and "The Legions of Darkness" (The Raiders special forces) will feast on it!
To be elected, one must have at least 12 the most votes! You may only vote for 1 person each ELECTION!
All issues must be brought to attention by either a senator or overlord of an empire! A citizen may bring up an issue, but it will not be voted on until a senator or overlord formally proposes it. To be considered a senator or overlord, you must have at least one other person in your empire besides yourself and you must have senator status!
That's all there is to say....now let's get started!

AMENDMENTS:
1. Anyone who is a senator in more than 1 empire counts as 2 votes but NOT 2 people! If you wish to be counted as a "Super" Senator, you must send me a PM telling me which empires you're a senator in.
2. The leader of the 1st place empire counts as 3 votes!
3. Free beer for all in attendance, but not to excess.
4. To pass anything, it must receive at least 12 6 votes, but if the nos outweigh the yeses, then it does not get passed.

As official head of this thread, I will be the first leader, but only for 1 week! on Tuesday, April 8th (i think) there will be the first ever vote for leader of this galactic senate!

Hmm...another gathering of lesser beings hopelessly intent on directing their own futures.

I must cast my first of my allotted votes, since I can only vote for one person per time I vote. I guess that could be 100 times per election. Maybe more. We'll see how many times I choose to vote at a later time.

My first vote for leader of this small, yet insignificant gathering is...

I'll respond with a threat to post yet another picture of Rosie, but in your empire thread.

The Raiders are not lesser beings! We only wish to set up a clean environment for Empires to discuss their issues without being slandered! I myself do not plan on partaking very much in the affairs of the senate.
Oh yeah and you can't vote on that yet...not till next tuesday (not tomorrow)!

I vote for the sanction...but that doesn't mean that you can! You need 5 votes in favor of the sanction in order to go through with your plan! But if more say no than yes, you Can't do it!

As a demon, it amuses me to abide by your ruling.

There are two votes in favor of sanctions against the Geckdon Alliance in the form of a vile Rosie image to be posted in their empire thread. I require 3 more votes. Those failing to vote in favor the sanctions will be summarily executed and/or possessed.

The Raiders have officially broken their alliance with the Geckodons because they are fools and they are too provocative! Being associated with them would be a foolish thing! The alliance between the two empires has been formally broken!

I vote a yes for Motti's proposal. And being a member of the Tyranny of Evil and a member of the Olypian Gods gives me 2 votes as well. I would also like to vote for Sethpenguin to return to the Metaverse. We do enjoy giving you a hard time but it is all in jest (besides you escalated it when you threatened to "Spore" us). But if you do return remember, we shall not let up on our threats to you empire and the assault of the Rosie clones shall continue. But if you wish to learn more about the game we shall be happy to take you into the ToE where you can learn alot of valuable info (but there are far more frightening images to be seen within the halls of our forum than we have let loose within the Metaverse forums). You have proven you willingness to be evil by the very actions you have taken these past few days (threatening to attack - though you claim to want diplomacy and turning on your fellow alliances) and this has made the ToE happy! The ToE would be willing to allow the Geckodans to entertain us while we continue to decimate the lives of those who will not submit to our evilness. AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!
